Prayer Tuesday
God knows our needs even before we acknowledge them to him.
"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24
God knows our needs even before we acknowledge them to him.
I am going to be posting scriptures for prayer this week. Prayer is one of the most important parts of our daily lives. If we pray as the bible teaches us we can have power in our lives. The word PUSH can be defined as:
"The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all sins."
"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise; neither do the aged understand judgement." Job 32: 8-9
"Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king." I Samuel 15:22-23
"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:18
"He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly: and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver: II Corinthians 9: 6-8
"Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteoussness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:" Psalms 37: 5-7
"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all." I Corinthians 12: 4-6
"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalms 37: 4
"The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly."
"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephensians 5: 1-2
"He will bless then that fear the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children, Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth." Psalms 115: 13-15
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." Proverbs 11: 30
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:" Romans 3:23
"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." Psalms 107: 20
"I beseech you therefore, brethen, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12: 1,2
Jesus speaking: "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6: 14-15
"Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like and adder.: Proverbs 23: 31-32
"He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." Psalms 91:4
