Unforgiveness

Hebrews 12:14-15

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled:"

Do you ever get mad at those you come in contact with on a daily basis? Do you choose not to forgive? Do you hold grudges against someone because you feel like you have been wronged? Do you choose to carry bitterness against someone for things that probably are small and of no concern?

If we can answer yes to any of these questions, we need to examine our hearts and go to God and ask him to forgive us, then we need to choose to forgive others and Let It Go.

Do you know that when you harbor something against your fellow man you are causing things to happen in your bodies that will cause sickness and disease? What about that headache? What about those chest pains? Why can you not sleep at night?

Unforgiveness is a strong hold that is no respecter of persons. It touches all people, young, old, preachers, prophets, mothers, fathers, all races, no one is left out. It is a strong hold that will break you in your walk with God, in your relationships, and even financially.

But you have a chose. You can choose to forgive (even when you might not have been the one doing the wrong). This is the way to have that peace with all men.

Today

Proverbs 27:1
"Boast not thyself of tomorrow: for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."

In other words do not boast of what you are going to do in the future becaue we do not know what today holds. We may not have a tomorrow.

Health

III John 2 says "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

John wished for prosperity and good health for Gaius (whom he was writing to). That is what I wish for you today. I have been doing a lot of reading lately. I have let my body get in disrepair and I am going to do something about it. This good health and prosperity John is talking about is for all of us.

I have always been on the go and now that I am slowing down I am going to focus more on the good things of life for my body and mind. Lets get started.

The Word

Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

The word is God's Word, the Bible. If we read and take it into our hearts it will be powerful. It will be the spiritual food we need daily. It will be like a sword that has two edges. It will cut going in and it will heal coming out. In other words it will show us what is wrong in our life and it will heal or correct as it goes forth out of our mouth, if we let it be our guide.

God bless.

Pathway

Proverbs 4:18
"But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."

What pathway are you on today. Is your pathway lighted by the shining light? If we are walking the pathway of Jesus Christ we are walking in the shining light which is Jesus.

Have a blessed day.

Taking Authority

Matthew 18:18-20 Jesus speaking, "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"

Are you under attach? If you are we can bind that attacher and keep him from messing with you. Are you a child of Jesus Christ? If you are then he has given you the authority to take control of those things that come against you. Where two or more come together in agreement about this and we bind it on earth it will be bound in heaven by the Father because the Son, Jesus Christ has given us that authority. I am praying with you this morning, we are binding those illness here on earth. We have that authority and I with you am taking that authority now to bind this thing that is trying to come against you on earth. God bless you.

Stuff

I look around me at different people and I wonder what they are striving for. It is good to have things. It is good to have a home and be able to relax at the end of the day. But some times I see people who are struggling to keep their heads above water (so to speak). They have become so involved with stuff (things) that they no longer enjoy the everyday life.

Living is so much more than having or being enslaved by things. I am watching the ducks and birds playing on the lake this morning and they have not a care in the world. The heavenly Father provides for them just as he will provide for us if we let him.

Luke 12:22 - 30; Jesus is speaking to his disciples. "Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have store house nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things."

God is so good

I am sitting here looking out over the lake, watching the ducks and their new babies. The birds are resting and all is at peace with God. God has been so good to me. He provides for me just as he does for the birds and ducks. I like to look back at Psalm 23 because it shows just what God is doing in our lives today.

"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shal follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Psalm 23

On Oaths

Jesus is speaking during his sermon on the mount:
"But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." Matthew 5:34-37

We must be careful what we say. Do not let our tongue get us in trouble.
