Psalm 16:11

"Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

David is seeking preservation and blessing when he writes the 16th Psalm. He knows who the true God is. He also knew that God was taking care of him. God was blessing him just as he blesses us today if we walk in his word. If we seek him daily he will guide us just as he did David. David was a man after God's heart.

David knew God would show him the path of life. He also knew that in the presence of God is fulness of joy. Are you walking in joy this morning? I am. No matter what the circumstance is in our life we can have joy in the Lord. We can also have pleasures for evermore at the right hand of God.

Dear Lord, I want to be like David. I want to be a woman after your heart. I want to walk in your peace and joy. Let me never stray from you O God. Amen
