The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13 "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name: Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen"

The Lord's prayer was given to his disciples as an example for them and us(we are also his disciples if we belong to him)for our prayer life. In v8, Jesus told the disciples he knew what they needed before they asked of Him.

He desires a relationship with us. He wants us to come to Him and tell him what is going on in our lives. He wants us to acknowledge what we desire from him, not meaning we get everything we ask for. He knows what our needs are and what is best for us and he has a time for everything.

He desires our love and he wants to give us good things and love us back. Sometimes we just need that love and nothing else.

God bless you today.
